Dependance....
The strongest man in the world is the one who stands all alone!
This is a well known quote...But I had never pondered on its meaning till today.. I mean what does this mean literally in a social environment? How can one succeed without people..People form a society and you suceed in a society..Define success for a person staying alone in a desert.. What would Sachin Tendulkars scoring a century mean if no one appretiated it..Then it would have been quite equivalent to my bathroom singing..Wouldn't it?
Dependance has been a problem everywhere from compilers to politics (our current governments state on the nuclear deal)...It has been affecting us personally too.
There exists a thin line between socializing (which is a must because 'Man is a social animal' and Sachin Tendulkar needs to be appretiated for his century) and depending on someone..
One of our profs while teaching 'Shared Memory Multiprocessors' had a slide saying:
'Ideally I do not want any communication
But in life sometimes you need to talk to people to get some work done!'
"I walk a lonely road ..the only one that i have ever known...." Dosent the guy sound really happy!
Lonliness itself is not lonely..it has so many people accompanying it!

so are you lonely? which road do you walk?
Well, India had been depending on Sachin for so long, and its not done them much good, has it? There should be as less dependency as possible (less coupling, more cohesion - as we learnt in college) between components. So you are right, when you say dependency is a problem.
